The Challenge

They were having issues with providing reliable, high-speed internet across the park for both guests and the site offices.

Our Solution

Cumulus Business Solutions installed a Gig on Gig ethernet connection to handle the large amount of bandwidth required for both park guests and the site offices.

This was done with 12 point-to-point (line of sight) link kits to distribute internet speeds around the whole site, along with 24 outdoor wireless access points to ensure strong coverage across the park.

Point-to-Point WiFi Distribution

Using point-to-point wireless links allowed the Cumulus team to distribute high-speed internet across the site efficiently, ensuring guests could enjoy fast and reliable connectivity throughout the park.

Office Communications Upgrade

We also upgraded the outdated analogue site office phone system to a Gamma Horizon Hosted System, helping to future proof their communications and provide a more modern, reliable setup.

Future Expansion

As Woodlands Caravan Park continues to invest in services and expand its site, we will be running 180m of 8 core fibre optic cable to another outbuilding at the edge of the park. This will allow the park to expand its WiFi connectivity as the site grows in the future.
